Plans and billing
Prices and limits are on the pricing page.
What counts as a monitor
One active primary monitor is one slot: a website, a TCP port, a ping target or an API endpoint. example.com over HTTPS and example.com:22 over TCP are two monitors. SSL, domain expiry, DNS history and PageSpeed checks come with the target and never take another slot. Heartbeats have their own quota. A paused monitor keeps its slot; a deleted one frees it.
Payment
Payments, invoices and sales tax are handled by Paddle, our merchant of record. Change your plan or payment method on the Plan page; moving to another paid plan is prorated right away.
If a payment fails
Your plan stays while Paddle retries the payment, and the dashboard shows a notice with a link to update your card.
When a plan ends
If a subscription is cancelled or ends, the account moves to the Free plan at the end of the paid period. Nothing stops right away:
- For 7 days everything keeps running as before. We e-mail the account owner when this starts and the day before it ends, and the dashboard shows the date.
- After 7 days monitors over the Free limit are paused, not deleted: the oldest ones stay active and history is kept. The rest move to the Free plan's interval and locations, and checks the plan does not include (DNS history, PageSpeed) are paused.
- Choose a paid plan again, at any time, and the monitors we paused start on their own. Monitors you paused yourself stay paused.
